I am a knitwear designer and tech editor living in the Piedmont region of North Carolina. I was taught to both sew and knit by my mother as a child, and sewed many of my own clothes for years, but didn’t really start knitting until I was in my 20s. I started designing in 2013 because I could never find quite the pattern I wanted. I love to work with natural fibers and especially yarns that have a story. Lately I’ve taken up spinning to understand more about different types of fiber and I’m currently trying to spin fiber from as many different sheep breeds as I can get my hands on.
